Sunday Church service...

This Sunday we had our normal church service, and we had some new people in come and join us, we had a worker who is not a christian, and towards the end of the service 4 prostitutes, who i had invited to come along on friday, after helping them out with some issues they had.

They got a fine for speaking too loudly on the street, at 4 in the afternoon, which makes you think thats not the proper reason they got fined, but anyway... as soon as they got the fine they came straight to our centre asking for help, so me and a friend who was visting called julia went down to the station and spoke to them, (well julia did, she speaks fluent spanish, i just nodded every so often) and we got it sorted, on the way back, i found out one of them is expecting a child and it killed me. i felt my heart break for her.

They came back to the centre and they let me pray for them in the prayer room, and i invited them to church, too be honest i invited them, but honestly was kind of thinking they wont turn up... but to my suprise they did. At the closing prayer i looked around and saw just the variety of people in the service, you had people who had been christians all their life, non christian workers, new christians and prostitutes, it was brilliant and made me think thats how Gods church is suppose to look like, variety of all people, nobody excluded...I Heart Gods shattering love that smashes all the boxes this world puts on people....
