Walking home...

Last night was a bit of a crazy one out on the streets, we walked quite a few pople home. But at one point as me and kT were trying to walk these 2 guys home, we stopped on a crossroads as they needed to chill ( they were drunk) and we needed to make sure they knew where they were going (which it turned out they didnt) but as we stopped, more and more people stumbeled down the road and stopped by us, as they knew we helped people get home. A line actually formed and we had a small group of people waiting for us to help them home, at the side of the road. One guy bout 4th in the line realised he was staying at the apartment where we were taking the first people home and he joined us. It was a real example as we are only human and there is only so much we can do... ' the harvest is plenty but the workers are few' it reminded me of that.

By the time we walked the first group home and got back to help more people get back to where they were staying, they had all gone, but still that night, i walked 2 more people home, one guy had been quite badly beaten up and another was a worker who had lost his mate and was just walking round in circles...

But at least we were able to help a few people out. Small but valuable acts of kindness..
