Good morning Saturday..

I say the above words, because it is 6.00am in the morning and ive just got in from being out in the 24-7 van, and as I have use of free instant access of the internet for a week (curtouesly of the Heasley's), its easier to update my blogs.

Tonight was mad, our first call out was at 1.00am and we havent stopped since then, there seemed to be alot of incidences of men not being nice to women tonight.. which is never happy.

One girl's boyfriend just up and left her in a club after a fight they had, but not before clearing her wallet of all money, keys phone etc to help her get home..we found her crying all lost , but the story ends well as we got her back safe and sound to her hotel.. Also a few violent and uneasy situations which is always a bit of a downer... I seriously dont understand people sometimes, but i know i'm not always meant to.. just meant to love them...
so yeah Good morning Saturday, may it be full of beauty and laughter, but right now i am off to bed..

Muchas love x

Love Work...

We are to work...
to sow Love where there is hatred
Pardon where there is injury
Faith where there is doubt
Light where there is darkness
And joy where there is sadness....

Goodbye Glitter Flip Flops.

Gave away my flip flops last night out on the street, which was all good until I figured, how was I going to walk around, luckily the lad I was out with (Tim, from Northern Ireland), is strong and gave me a piggy back to the centre.

I would love to say it was this well thought out holy act, but in fact, he needed something so his feet wouldnt get wrecked, that I had, so I gave hiim mine, not very holy , more practical.

The best thing is they were pink glittery ones, so I saw him walk down the road in them, such a beautifull sight to be hold.

Spiritual Skecthing...

I Love God,...

I Love Art...

Art is collaboration between God and the Artist and the less the artist does the better...-Andre Gide...

The other day I was in the 24-7 centre and got chatting to a lad who had done prophetic Holy Spirit inspired drawing and painting, which I had never heard of but sounds interesting. I might give it a go, most people will think it’s kooky and weird but I couldn’t give a rat’s arse... I Love to draw and paint and I love God.

Why couldn’t he use that passion to speak to me?

Will let you know how it goes.

Hello Saturday...

So it’s Saturday morning. I Love Saturday mornings, especially the ones where the day is yours to do with as you please..
Last night was a busy one of Handing out sweets and chocolate to dancers and workers of the 3 main Dance venues in San Antonio, then heading off to Wonderland at Eden to see Calvin Harris.

So I am here at the start of the day with the great expectation of all the days’ possibilities. Whether it’s a lazy beach day in a deserted cove beach somewhere, a day of doing Art in the apartment and reading some books or watching films and singing on the guitar, or a day bike riding.. I love a day of no plans and no time watching... the day is mine to do with as I please.. I have noticed more that as I get older I appreciate these days more and when I know there is one coming up I get quite excited about them.

I will let you know what todays hours are made into...But heres to today....

Before Sunset..

The lines below, are from a conversation in one of my favourite films called ‘Before Sunset’, I love that being in awe of beauty can move you to drastic action. You Can totally see it, in this place, that i get to live in for the summer.

Jesse: I heard this story once about when the Germans were occupying Paris and they had to retreat back. They wired Notre Dame to blow, but they had to leave one guy in charge of hitting the switch. And the guy, the soldier, he couldn't do it. You know, he just sat there, knocked out by how beautiful the place was. And then when the allied troops came in, they found all the explosives just lying there and the switch unturned, and they found the same thing at Sacre Couer, Eiffel Tower. Couple other places I think...

Celine: Is that true?

Jesse: I don't know. I always liked the story, though.

May we live in awe of beauty Everyday.

Godly Fireflies...

‘Do everything readily and cheerfully- no Bickering, no second guessing allowed. Go Out into the World uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalled and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light giving message into the night so I’ll have good cause to be proud of you on the day that Christ returns, you’ll be living proof that I didn’t go to all this work for nothing.’-Philippians 2 : 14-16

I Love the above scripture, i love the bit where it says about 'carrying the light giving message into the night, i see 24-7 Ibiza as little Godly fireflies buzzing around San Antonio, shedding light into the darkness. Love it...

The Prodigy...

Last night I went to see The Prodigy at Ibiza Rocks! For those of you who know The Prodigy’s music, you will know that they have dirty beats and bumping base lines throughout all songs, but the lyrics can be a bit on the dark side. With this in mind, as soon as me and my partner in crimes Neil got there, the first thing we did was to find a spot and prayed over it all, the venue/Hotel, the audience, the bands, we soaked it all in prayer and I know that God is just as much at a Rock Gig on a Tuesday night, as he is at church on a Sunday morning...
I love how, out here we get to pray to God in Places and call on him to move, in situations where people think God just wouldn’t be Interested in (How wrong they are)....
I have been doing alot of that lately... As For the Gig it was amazing, I loved it, and as always I got a chance to lift god higher than all the other pulls on this island, through lifting my hands to him and cheering and applauding him.

Baking some blessing's..

I am thinking about trying to bake some heart shaped cookies or biscuits to take in next time to the Strip Joints... we want to do something easy but pretty and nice and cheap... any ideas let me know , would love to do blueberry muffins,( i have had a craving for them since day one of being here) but i am not that good a cook, any good recipes let me know...

Smugeling Curly Wurleys into Strip joints.

So Wednesday night, saw me and Jud push ourselves into unknown territory,on our night off, we decided to go into the 3 main Strip joints in San Antonio and bless them somehow... We both had never done this before but had wanted to for a long time, to just go in and bless the girlz and challenge some of the men who were in there. At the beginning of the night we decided to pray before anything, and i was actually really nervous.. We decided just to buy some choclate curly wurleys and take a few bibles and just see what happens.

We ended up having a great night, really eye opening but also lotz of more chat than what i thought we would get.(ever the opitmist). There was too many things that happened, to go into too much detail but just to say, it was very eventfull. and we are definately gona do it again. will keep you up to date, my fave part of the night was when one of the PR's for a strip club said no ,he wouldnt let us into the club, they usually joke saying do we want to go in, but when we do go in, it shakes their world, here's to more experiences like that armed with choclate...

Sunrise of Awe..

As the sun began to rise this morning, and the light spilled onto the car park that is Ibiza Town Hospital, I looked at my watch , which I would do for another hour as it edged ever closer to 6.am . And began to feel abit tierd...

Another crazy night, Prayer's said, Bibles given out, and a ride in an ambulance.

As I stood rather cold, (but it was still warmer outside than inside the hospital,) looking at the Sunrise, I was really aware, of those pockets of Awe, that God opens us to, and this morning was no exception...
Even though I was and am a bit tierd I was/ and am so blessed that God still choses to use me in his plan. It was in this Mornings Sunrise that I saw his beauty once again...

Lord Help me to stop among the messy crazyness and see you through it all.

A Light Day.

I feel happy and light today. In the last few dayz me i have felt a bit rough.. (i must be the only person in the world who gets a cold in the height of the summer season) but i am coming out the other side, and i am so happy for it.

There is always those first few dayz after you have been Ill where you really appreciate not being ill but healthy, right now i am there. The team have been praying for me loads, some even insisted on laying hands on my nose, but it did the trick, i felt really dodgy before going to the club on tuesday they prayed and once i was in there felt great and had a brilliant time.

Thankyou God for keeping me In your Hands and healhty so i can enjoy your beauty in this place..
( the top photo is off the sunflowers by the founatains in the West End San Antonio, its like a display of Gods light, always present, even at 4.00am when we are walking people home, i always stop to enjoy them., today they seemed to shine more than usual)

3 Boyz and a Bible...

The 'Jesus Loves Ibiza' Bibles are ging down a treat.

Last nigth on the streets i bumped into again (have met them every night this week) these 3 lads who are reading the bible and getting right into it, so much so that I found myself last night having abit of a bible study out on the street right next to a strip joint, they had loads of questions and one of them didnt understand a bit of what they read, but had been thinking about the scripture alot, and his grasp of it was spot on, also they had been asking around and started mentioning other bible books that they dont even have, ( they only have the New Testement) which they said they would be interested in reading, Somthing called Isaiah.

Also another girl who we took home on Monday abit worse for wear ,who hated all religion, and thought we were foolish to believe in God, has been reading the bible and last night she told me she is upto chapter 10 in Genesis, which is flippin amazing , she has totally been turned around in her perception to God. so the bibles are doing brilliant.

The fact that people are not only wanting them, but reading them and coming to us, with questions is fantastic, it begins a journey for them, which we believe will lead to a Revelation of Gods love for them.

We Prayed last night, that we would actually run out of Bibles because of people wanting know about God. May that happen.

Team number 2

The next team Arrive tomorrow, it's full of people from all over the Uk and beyond and i cant wait to meet them. Leading them is a familar face from last season, who i lived up on the farm with.
Its gona be a good 2 weeks, with many prayers shared and hearts stirred. Lets get in the Prayer room and rock this joint.

Saturday Night Plans...

There is something special about this place.. Only here can you find yourself at 4 in the morning, driving among the Ibiza Hills, having dropped off 4 ladies, one seriously drunk to the other side of this small Island, Singing along to East 17, as the only music is from a tape from the early 90's , quite dolled up as you were hoping to get to Hed Kandi but havent made it yet as you keep getting calls, from bar owners who have drunk people that need help, its usually here that you think to yourself...this is a random night.

For those of you who know me, No i didnt get to Hed Kandi, we had calls all night ( and i'm not even a tiny bit gutted, you know thats the lord right there, cause I know why I am here.) What can I say the lord is changing me, here's to more random nights, with dodgy soundtracks..

The Heart behind the Heart...

Lately i have been really aware about checking my Heart behind what i do in everything. Its scary but interesting when you examine your motive behind eveything you do...

I have been thinking about the way i do things for God, and really examing who is it for. God or Me. This is something that God is definately teaching me about at the moment. When i go for a coffee with someone am i going because i want to spend time with them and show them they are worth spending time with ? or just because it looks good to be reaching out to people, and puffs up my spiritual credentials ?

I want to be transperant, what you see is what you get life, no hidden motive or going through the motions, pure in heart. Thats the best way to live.
