BookShop Moments....

I Love Bookshops....Not only do I work in one, but I love to just stand/sit in them. I love to sit and smell them and spend a generous amount of time looking at new books.

Today me and My mate Panda went into a bookstore and we must have been in there for ages.. (She Brought a book from the creator of QI, something to do with Lost Words..Seriously! )

I love the vibes, all the stories, the imagination, the tales of mystery I find. When I am in there I feel inspired...

I love the quote below: I feel I would of got along with C.S Lewis.

'You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me.'

Right now I am reading a Novel my mum has given me called 'The happy Home for Broken Hearts' by Rowan Coleman as I can't afford to buy any at the moment.. But I have a few stored up..

I shall see you in the fiction section...

Every Season there is a Purpose.

It's Autumn and it is my favourite season, I love the colours, the Sound of crunching leaves under your feet when taking the dog a walk, and all things snug that seems to happen in these few months.
Over the last few days a friend of mine has got really seriously ill and it has made me think of that verse in the bible about different Season's (Ecclesiastes 3) and the purpose for them, its hard for me to understand the season my friend is going through and the purpose behind it, but I know the reason for Autumn its to look gorgeous.

3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

I Love Tea!

GoodBye and Welcome..

So I am now Back home in Lovely Lush Green England . In a state of a dreamworld, did the last 5 months actually happen? Leaving was Pretty hard, but the team made it great, with Tracy H making me, a serious goodbye meal, which looked and tasted gorgeous..
My Mum made my coming home back lovely, with balloons outside and inside, new slippers on my bed, Sunflowers in my room, and a Sunday dinner, my first meal. Yeah Boy!
My mum is actually the best mum in the world FACT!
So I have decided to keep this blog going, for the only reason that I enjoy it. Hopefully you will want to stay...

Homeward Bound...

'Though we travel the world over to find the beautifull, we must carry it with us, or we find it not.'- Ralph Waldo Emerson..
So I fly back home tomorrow, With Ryanair (oh how we travelers love them).
Back to the land of Middle Earth also known as the Midlands.. Back to the Pub, Green fields and walking the Dog, TV and Rainy weather... I love England, espically in the autumn..
Its always mixed emotions. ( I am not very good at goodbyes) there are people I dont want to leave here, but there are also people I can't wait to see at home.
The 5 months living here in Ibiza have been amazing, made some truely great friends, times have been challenging, with ups and downs along the way.Its crazy to think this time tomorrow I will be home.As if this place was a dream.
But I know everything that God has has taught me in Ibiza, will be going home with me.
Here's to Autumn at Home...

Wednesday Poem...

Read this today on a Blog and loved it...

One time I had two cats... Tequila and Cinderella.
One time I was a vegan for two weeks, but then I wanted ice cream (and steak).
One time I worked as a telemarketer.
One time I met George Clooney and called him G-money. He laughed. I turned the brightest red.
One time I didn't know what FTW stood for.
One time I lived in Wales.
One time I got a puppy dog.
One time I was obsessed with Strawberry Shortcake.
One time I drove a sky blue Pinto with a huge Grateful Dead symbol on the hood.
One time I was a killer soccer player.
One time I got a perm even though my hair is naturally curly.
One time I wore heels to the airport (on an international flight) because I wanted to be a fancy traveler.
One time I learned that "fancy" travelers are, in fact, nuts.
One time I had a job making chocolate.
One time I went on a mission.
One time I found a four leaf clover...

The Last Weekend..

So the last weekend was my last for the summer of 2010 on this Island, and it was brilliant that I got to spend it with my Brother David and his mates, as they came over to see me and see what I do out here.
We also had a pretty good night friday night, as we went to see the sunset at Cafe Del Mar and then went into the west end , then into Es Paradis for a bit of raving..

It has taken me 2 years of nagging to get him here, but it finally happened, and it was worth the wait..

Not a Passive Farther!

Last night we found a lad about 17 who was in a seriously bad state, he was lying in his own vomit, spit and snot, crying for his dad, and his dad just sat and laughed at him and kicked him occasionaly telling him to stop being so silly. ( The vomit was for me the worst of the summer, I have never smelt something like that, I had to go back to the pray room and put orange peel under my nose for 10 minutes.)

The young lad switched from saying if anyone hurt his dad he would kill them, to punching his dad in the nose, in the end we decided to call an ambulance, he was that bad and all his dad cared about was he didnt want to get arrested.

I really wanted to tell the dad to grow up, but I didnt need to, as the people who walked by and saw the situation, told the dad themselves, repeatedly. His dad was quite happy to see his son, in humilation and actually told me some personal information about his son which he thought was funny and would humilate him even more.

This story makes me want to cry, I am so gratfull for my dad, Papa Ison, who loves me so much its amazing, but also for my abba God. He sees that all the time, he did with me, (lying in my own sinfull dirt) but it cuts him so much he cant help but act. My prayer for that young lad, is that he knows God is not like his earthly farther, he cant bear to sit and watch...

Thankyou Abba !

Big Brother is Coming !

So My Big Brother David is coming to see me for the weekend and I am abit excited. ( A Dream come true). He has always wanted to come to Ibiza and has finally got off his butt to see this beautifull place and what I do out here with the 24-7 crew.
He is probably one of the main reasons I got into dance music. I used to rob all his Dance CD's and never give them back to him, sometimes I would accidently scratch them, which really used to annoy him ( we had countless arguments over this ) and I used to pretend that I was going with him to the clubs when he was getting ready to go out.. Childhood memories.
Apparently the weather is not going to be good this weekend ( he would pick the only one of the summer), but it is not going to spoil it.
I want to take him to the Sunset Strip (Mambo and Cafe Del Mar) and hopefully if I can pull guestlist Wonderland at Eden to see Pete Tong, but we will see. I havent seen hime for 5 months so i dont really care what we do..
so Have a great weekend.. I will.

For the Girls we love ...

‘This is what the sovereign Lord says ‘I am against all your magic charms, which you use to ensnare my people like birds. I will tear them from your arms, setting my people free like birds set free from a cage. I will tear off the magic veils and save my people from your grasp. They will no longer be your victims. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’ Ezekiel 13: 20-21.

An amazing promise that keeps me...in times of madness...

Flower Shop happiness.

Was in a flower shop yesterday trying very hard to convey to the shop lady what I wanted in hand gestures, she didnt speak English, I dont speak Spanish, it was a creative time.

But I didnt want to leave, so many beautifull flowers. I saw the best 2 Sunflowers ever. If I could have afforded it I would have brought them. I tried to let the shop lady know how beautifull I thought the flowers were in my special hand language, and she understood. She let me take out the flowers and smell them and put them back, I had a great time...

I love flowers, they show Gods beauty to me, and when I choose the flowers I wanted (Yellow Lillies) they were really cheap and she made the even more beautifull with pink tissue paper and cream ribbon.

I might splurge and go again very soon, this time for me...I am thinking SunFlowers...

Song of the Week

I Love Your Presence - Bethel

I can't get this song out of my head. Seriously everytime I am in the prayer room I just want to play it and bask in God...

So Simple but beautifully intimate...

The Jamming ends for summer 2010..

Love...

Singing with Joy and Poppy in the prayer room, singing songs , me playing the guitar and screwing the chords up and basically jamming with them for an hour..

Its been such a good thing to look forward to every week, I am so going to miss it... But maybe that just means there might have to be a band reunion very soon...

Easy like a sunday afternoon..

Having a nice Afternoon of food and swimming pool action around Brian And Tracy's right now, with all the 24-7 Family..

Good way to spend the day before church...

Found Drawings of Inspiration...

Saturday became a day of the girls getting together and going shopping in Ibiza Town...

Armed with our few euros that we could muscle together, we headed off in search of our purchases.

We came across a shop called ‘Biscuit’ which was flipping gorgeous inside, and they sold broaches and small girly things with drawings from an illustrator called Jdon Jardon. Her work is so beautiful...

I got talking to the man in the shop and he said she lives in Paris and draws for Elle Magazine. In the shop I could only afford to buy a bookmark with her work on, but would love to get a big piece of her work..

Enjoy x

Vomiting Session with Friends...

This morning the girls in our apartment all got together and had our weekly meeting of struggles and sharing the battles we are in...(Accountability meeting)

Doing it this morning, after a pretty hardcore day yesterday and only 3 hours of sleep the night before ( a crying dog outside and a lady moving furniture upstairs, entertained us with their loud noise at 9am , when u get to bed at 5.30am this is not good.) was at the start, such a chore to do, sometimes you just can’t be bothered...(last night I managed to get 9 and half hours sleep, so I think my body has managed to catch up, but is still abit in a mood with me)
But once we got into it, it was brilliant. It’s pretty exciting to see what God is doing in our lives, with regards to area’s where we struggle/ not dealing well with, living out practical faith...

The girls who I live with inspire me. I love that I feel comfortable with vomiting up all my nasty bits and they don’t judge me, but just want to see mw grow, its flipping amazing...each one of us is being taught so much...it really is a household of love towards each other...it’s one of the many things I love about this place..And believe me we always have a good few litres to vomit...

Here’s to the next vomiting session with friends...

Thursday Lessons..

Lately i have been thinking that everything is a lesson is learning...Whether it's , i have screwed up or recognizing I did okay, you can always find a lesson in there somewhere... It's some precious spectacles to see life through...it shows you your fragility and nonsense inside, but allows you to grow big time.

Its quite a shift when it happens but a good shift...here's to wading into the unknown lessons....
